To start a new account:

  • Start up Outlook
  • Click Tools
  • Click Accounts
  • Select ADD A NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT
  • Select POP3
  • Click Next

To change settings on previously set up email account:

  • Go to tools
  • Then email accounts
  • Check the top radio button for view or change existing e-mail accounts
  • Highlight the one you want to edit and click CHANGE

User information should be your name and your email address.

Server information for incoming and outgoing mail server should be the same: mail.YourSite.com

Logon information should be:
username: emailname@yoursite.com
password: YourPassword

  • Click MORE SETTINGS
  • Click the OUTGOING SERVER tab at the top
  • Check the box that says:
               MY OUTGOING SERVER (SMTP) REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION
  • Check the radio button that says
              USE SAME SETTINGS AS MY INCOMING MAIL SERVER

  • Click OK
